About The Position

AbleLight is hiring a Manager of Residential Operations in Centennial, Colorado. The manager leads the team delivering person-centered care and services to people supported in a residential setting, in alignment with AbleLight’s purpose of helping people with developmental disabilities achieve their full potential. The role focuses on developing leaders and teams, supporting a thriving environment, and contributing to quality, process improvement, and business results.

Requirements

• Two to three years of experience in a work position, volunteer or community role, or educational setting focused on serving and helping others.
• Two to three years of previous leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and individuals who lead others, fostering a culture that aligns their passion and talents with serving the people supported.
• Develop others, empower teams, promote collaboration, remove barriers, achieve results, and recognize and appreciate colleagues to attract and retain diverse talent.
• Partner with operational leaders, human resources, quality, and nursing to welcome, onboard, train, and mentor new leaders.
• Identify additional training and development needs for programs and leaders’ teams through Quarterly Connections.
• Maintain focus on metrics and budgets to support area and state business results.
• Model positive leadership behaviors.
• Serve as a resource for colleagues, people supported, and parents or guardians when local leadership efforts have not resolved an issue.
• Recommend quality and process improvements for employees and the people served, including enhancements to standard operating procedures.
