About The Position

AbleLight is hiring a Manager of Residential Operations in Centennial, Colorado. This position leads the team that delivers person-centered care and services to people supported in a residential setting. The role supports AbleLight’s purpose of helping people with developmental disabilities achieve their full potential.

Requirements

• Two to three years of experience in a work position, volunteer or community role, or educational setting focused on serving and helping others.
• Two to three years of leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and individuals who lead others, aligning their passion and talents with the needs of the people supported.
• Develop others, empower teams, promote collaboration, remove barriers, achieve results, recognize and appreciate colleagues, and help attract and retain diverse talent.
• Create an environment where everyone can thrive.
• Partner with operational leaders, Human Resources, Quality, and Nursing to welcome, onboard, train, and mentor new leaders.
• Identify additional training and development needs for programs and leaders’ teams as part of Quarterly Connections.
• Monitor metrics and budgets to support area and state business results.
• Demonstrate positive leadership behaviors through personal example.
• Serve as a resource for colleagues, people supported, and parents or guardians when local leadership efforts have not resolved an issue.
• Recommend quality and process improvements to enhance standard operating procedures for employees and people served.
• Help enhance the lives of the people supported.
