About The Position

The Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO) establishes, leads, and manages BNS’s centralized project management function. The role develops project management standards, oversees portfolio performance, and provides leadership and accountability for Project Managers across BNS business units. It establishes the structure, processes, reporting, and management practices needed to support consistent project delivery as the company grows. The PMO Manager is accountable for the effectiveness of the project management function, including standardized practices, project portfolio oversight, Project Manager development, and visibility into schedules, budgets, resources, risks, customer commitments, and financial performance. The role establishes expectations, monitors performance, identifies execution gaps, and ensures issues are escalated and addressed with clear ownership and recovery plans. The position works closely with the COO and executive leadership, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Contracts, Engineering, HR, and Business Development to ensure projects are planned, resourced, monitored, and delivered in alignment with company objectives and contractual commitments. It is a PMO leadership role focused on building and managing the project management function, not a senior Project Manager role. The PMO Manager coordinates project resource requirements but does not control field workforce assignments or operational deployment, and does not replace Finance’s accounting and financial control responsibilities or other functions’ approval authority. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt remote position. The location is based on business needs, and travel is required as needed to support operations and customer commitments.

  • Prepare and present portfolio reports to the COO and executive leadership; lead recurring project review meetings and assign owners and due dates to action items.
  • Identify recurring execution challenges, document and apply lessons learned, develop corrective action plans, and continuously improve PMO processes.
