About The Position

The Third Estimate is seeking a Manager of People Development to help attract exceptional talent, develop employees, and strengthen their culture. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys recruiting, creating meaningful learning experiences, and helping build a high-performing team. The Manager of People Development is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting while supporting employee onboarding, learning and development, engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. This position plays an important role in helping The Third Estimate attract, develop, and retain exceptional employees while supporting the company's continued growth.

Requirements

  • Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, learning and development, human resources, organizational development, or a related field.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience creating employee training materials, presentations, SOPs, or learning resources.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Learning Management System (LMS), and Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
  • Experience supporting employee engagement, leadership development, or organizational development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through onboarding.
  • Source, interview, and hire exceptional candidates across multiple departments.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and attract top talent.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience while building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Develop onboarding programs, training materials, and learning resources.
  • Partner with department leaders to support employee development and continuous learning.
  • Evaluate and enhance training programs to improve employee success.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and performance development initiatives.
  • Improve recruiting, onboarding, and employee development processes.
  • Track recruiting and training metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead with HR programs and initiatives that support organizational growth.
