About The Position

The Cristo Rey Network seeks a Manager of Operations who will be a part of our national Leading & Learning Team. The Manager of Operations is responsible for working collaboratively with the team and cross-functionally with national office staff and our national network of schools to ensure programming is delivered with excellence. This individual will report directly to the Chief Academic Officer and will be accountable for ensuring exceptional work product is delivered for academic leaders across all Cristo Rey schools. This position is based at the Cristo Rey Network national office in downtown Chicago, IL. This position is a part time, 20-hour per week role with 4 hours of work per day primarily occurring during normal business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as advance planner for all in-person LLT professional learning events; serve as LLT liaison with the CRN Events team.
  • Manage all aspects of logistics for LLT in-person events, including but not limited to handouts and supplies.
  • Serve as a lead on logistics of LLT multi-year grant-supported professional learning event recruitment, including the communication of LLT professional learning opportunities, the coordination of legal support (MOU drafting, editing and e-signing) in conjunction with the CRN legal and advancement teams and local school president and principals.
  • Serve as main LLT point of contact with Events Manager, meet at least weekly to review upcoming event logistics and related transportation, supplies, meeting locations, and communications items.
  • Communicate and coordinate with LLT members on items above.
  • Gather, organize all physical materials for events, including the copying of participant handouts.
  • Maintain a participation list, including attendance after the event.
  • Create event websites and manage participant and facilitator registration, send all event logistics-related communications to participants before and after the event.
  • Manage on-the-ground logistics, including transportation of participants from hotel/meeting location/dinner.
  • Write communication drafts on behalf of the LLT for internal distribution (this would include drafting messages to subgroups, inviting them and giving them the why to particular learning sessions).
  • Coordinate with LLT to maintain and send LLT weekly look head email to instructional leaders.
  • Ensure program deliverables are executed with excellence.
  • Maintain and Update LLT/Academics Event Google Calendar.
  • Maintain and Update Academics Site in Cornerstone including sub pages for each HUB and school leaders.
  • Organize, edit and select resources from CRN schools for use in professional development, including videos of classroom instruction, coaching conversations, and data analysis meetings.
  • Collaborate with national staff to ensure Leading and Learning Team materials include most recent data and information.
  • Produce and send Professional Learning Certificates after all events.
  • Visualize, analyze and summarize assessment data.
  • Support with remote administration of Middle of Year and End of Year exams in late winter/spring (Math and End of Course Assessments).
  • Assemble model instructional annual plans, unit plans, and lesson plans.
  • Assist schools in resolving questions with curriculum resources, assessments, and information location in our resource library.
  • Conduct research on best-in-class resources as requested.
  • Collaborate with national staff on keeping developing data reports, surveys, dashboards, and both internally and externally facing reports and routinely updating these items.
