About The Position

The Practice Manager is responsible for the daily activities related to the growth and management of Leading Locum, LLC. Working with support from the LifeLinc leadership team, this individual will successfully execute the organizational goals and transitional objectives of independent contractors and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or similar required
  • Strong healthcare provider recruitment background required
  • Extensive knowledge of independent contractors with healthcare providers, including knowledge of healthcare compensation models, particularly for independent contractors
  • Excellent project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience using ATS (applicant tracking systems) required
  • Ability to work autonomously to outline goals and objectives as well as manage a team of anesthesia providers in aspects such as contracting, scheduling, payroll and communication.

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience with anesthesia providers preferred
  • Experience with ICIMs ATS preferred
  • Sales experience is desired

Responsibilities

  • Managing the recruitment and onboarding process for new providers, ensuring all necessary background checks, credentialing, and documentation are completed prior to assignment.
  • Attending recruiting tradeshows, conferences, and networking events to build relationships and identify high-quality provider candidates.
  • Develop job descriptions, attract top talent, and oversee the application process.
  • Develop a robust pipeline of clinical talent, focusing on both active and passive candidates
  • Ensure timely and accurate and professional communication with CRNAs
  • Work collaboratively with recruiting, operations, and credentialing teams to ensure successful placement execution and ongoing provider support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve provider experience through streamlined onboarding, credentialing support, scheduling flexibility, and operational efficiencies.
  • Communicating and collaborating with internal teams (e.g., LifeLinc)
  • Ensuring cross-functional coordination between operations, finance, HR, and clinical teams to align strategies and goals.
  • Acting as a liaison between LifeLinc and Leading Locum, collaborating with leadership on staffing projections, performance metrics, and ongoing process improvements.
  • Supporting internal projects as needed, including helping identify and implement process improvements, technology tools, or compliance enhancements.
  • Support onboarding and integration efforts by leading processes for new providers by offering clear cohesive communication on roles, expectations and policies.
  • Ensuring all necessary paperwork, training, and system access are provided to new hires in a timely manner.
  • Overseeing provider scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including coordination with operational leaders to account for seasonal or urgent staffing needs.
  • Manage last-minute adjustments or shift changes.
  • Coordinate with providers to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling that meets both provider availability and business needs.
  • Address and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues promptly to maintain continuity of care and operational efficiency.
  • Follow established guidelines for contracting and scheduling
  • Manage and ensure all necessary documentation for independent contractors is up-to-date, including contracts, tax forms (e.g., W-9s), and insurance certifications.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate biweekly payroll processing for all contracted providers, following established procedures and tax compliance requirements for independent contractors.
  • Liaising with payroll service providers or in-house teams to ensure all reimbursements are properly handled.
  • Maintain strong documentation for audits, reviews, and compliance purposes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, surgery centers, anesthesia groups, and healthcare executives to identify staffing opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Partner with anesthesia providers to understand their professional goals, preferred practice settings, scheduling preferences, and geographic interests in order to align them with appropriate assignments.
  • Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for CRNAs pursuing a flexible 1099 practice model by providing guidance throughout the assignment lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify strategic growth opportunities, emerging markets, and potential new client partnerships.
  • Conduct outreach efforts including networking, conference attendance, cold calling, and relationship-based sales initiatives to generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, anesthesia staffing demands, compensation expectations, and competitive workforce dynamics.
  • Support contract negotiations and staffing proposals in partnership with executive leadership and legal counsel.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials, provider engagement strategies, and branding initiatives to promote Leading Locum as a premier anesthesia staffing partner.
  • Build and maintain long-term provider and client relationships through consistent communication, responsiveness, and exceptional service.
  • Track business development metrics, provider placement activity, and client satisfaction indicators to support operational growth goals.
