The Manager of Nursing Programs is an experienced registered nurse (RN) who is responsible for the operational, clinical, and administrative leadership of nursing programs and services. This role works in dyadic partnership with our Clinical Director to provide oversight of nursing staff, promote high-quality patient care, ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards, and support the achievement of strategic and operational goals. The Manager of Nursing Programs fosters a culture of patient-centered care, safety, collaboration, continuous quality improvement and teamwork. Working independently and in collaboration with providers, interdisciplinary teams, and organizational leadership, the RN Nurse Manager oversees staffing, workflow optimization, performance management, employee development, quality initiatives, and resource utilization. The position requires strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, professional judgment, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment. The RN Nurse Manager serves as a role model, mentor, and advocate for nursing excellence while supporting positive patient outcomes and staff engagement. The RN Nurse Manager is an active part of the nursing team and provides direct and indirect patient care in a healthcare facility or telephonic setting. This role requires professional judgment, initiative, flexibility, and accountability, with minimal supervision. The RN prioritizes care based on patients’ physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors that affect patient flow. The role also includes communicating with and supporting primary care providers and the care team regarding changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results, and responding promptly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
