Pauktuutit, as the national voice of Inuit women in Canada, has a key role to play in ensuring the use of a gender-equity lens in policies impacting Inuit women, girls and gender-diverse Inuit. We promote greater progress in priority areas, across health and well-being, violence and abuse prevention, safety, and social and economic development. Our ability to do so depends heavily on partnership across government, key funders, Inuit community groups and other stakeholder organizations. Job Purpose Reporting to the Director, the Manager will lead both the day-to-day operations of the team within a specific portfolio and drive the initiatives to support the overall goals of the organization. The role requires considerable skill in relationship building, including the ability to develop and foster partnerships and to collaborate effectively with community groups, agencies, and other stakeholders. The manager works directly with the Director and across the policy and research team to coordinate and manage initiatives within the portfolio. The role collaborates with the Director to support departmental wide initiatives. Critical to the success of this role is ability to collaborate with the leadership to bring best practices, and to support planning and execution of the department plans and budgets to track and manage performance against set priorities.
