York Hills is a children and youth mental health agency that offers a wide range of mental health services, supports and partnerships providing meaningful and evidence informed/based treatment to children, and youth, aged 0 to 18 years, and their families. Reporting to the Director of Intensive Services, the Manager of Clinical Services, is responsible for providing leadership and direction on clinical services, strategies, planning, design, implementation, delivery and assessment of assigned services. This role oversees delivery of child, youth and family therapy in the Day Treatment Program supporting staff with formulation assessments, treatment plans, providing counseling using a range of evidence-based and informed practices, and provision of psychoeducation as needed. The Manager is also responsible for maintaining a professional working relationship with school board and child welfare partners and will remain knowledgeable on current and emerging research pertaining to clinical frameworks, industry best practices, and will ensure appropriate agency-approved therapeutic intervention models are utilized.
