About The Position

The Center for Disability Services is seeking a MANAGER OF CLINICAL SERVICES to contribute to its mission by providing clinical direction and supervision to clinicians within the Children Services division. This role involves collaborating with program management and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, state-of-the-art, and cost-effective services for individuals and their families. The Center for Disability Services has been a community leader for over 80 years, providing innovative programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Capital Region and North Country, empowering them to lead full, independent lives. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of job-related experience, specifically in clinical experience working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience supervising professional level staff preferred.
  • Must have one of the following with a NYS licensure and registration:
  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY: Satisfactorily completed an approved occupational therapy curriculum in a baccalaureate or masters program, or a certificate program satisfactory to the department which is substantially equivalent to a baccalaureate degree program, in accordance with the commission of education’s regulations.
  • PHYSICAL THERAPY: Completion of a 4-year program provided requirements include a bachelor’s, higher degree or equivalent in physical therapy.
  • SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY: Master’s in the field of speech-language pathology and American Speech-Language Association Certificate of Clinical Competence – recommended NYS teaching Credential for the Speech and Hearing Handicapped – Children Services.
