About The Position

The Center for Disability Services is seeking a Manager of Clinical Services to contribute to their mission by providing clinical direction and supervision to clinicians within the Children Services division. This role involves collaborating with program management and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective services for individuals with disabilities and their families. The Center for Disability Services has been a leading provider of programs and services for individuals with disabilities in upstate New York for 75 years, offering unique and vital services.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of job-related experience, specifically in clinical experience working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience supervising professional-level staff is preferred.
  • Must possess one of the following with NYS licensure and registration:
  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY: Satisfactorily completed an approved occupational therapy curriculum in a baccalaureate or masters program, or a certificate program satisfactory to the department which is substantially equivalent to a baccalaureate degree program, in accordance with the commission of education’s regulations.
  • PHYSICAL THERAPY: Completion of a 4-year program provided requirements include a bachelor’s, higher degree or equivalent in physical therapy.
  • SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY: Master’s in the field of speech-language pathology and American Speech-Language Association Certificate of Clinical Competence – recommended NYS teaching Credential for the Speech and Hearing Handicapped – Children Services.
