About The Position

We are seeking a Manager of Clinical Practice (MCP) to provide clinical leadership and ensure excellence in client care. The MCP promotes full-scope clinical practice, ensures compliance with professional and regulatory standards, and leads quality improvement initiatives. This role provides clinical oversight, staff leadership, and mentorship across professional and paraprofessional teams.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing preferred)
• Current registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
• CPR certification and negative TB status
• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership or supervisory nursing experience (community setting preferred)
• Experience leading training and education initiatives
• Strong understanding of HR practices and policy interpretation
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead high‑performing teams
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Clear criminal background check, including vulnerable sector search
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, EHRs, virtual platforms)

Nice To Haves

• Specialty nursing certifications (e.g., CNA, LEAP, deSouza) are an asset
• Business development experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical quality, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure holistic client assessments and client‑centered care plans
• Visit clients as needed; manage service delivery and client/HCP matching
• Investigate and resolve client, family, funder, and employee concerns
• Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate field staff
• Lead training, mentorship, and performance management activities
• Coordinate with funders, care teams, and government programs
• Support branch operations, including on‑call clinician access as required
• Ensure privacy, health & safety, and regulatory compliance
