About The Position

The Manager Nursing Med Surg is responsible for leading and overseeing a clinical dialysis unit’s staff, patient care, and facility. The manager leads the team in providing the highest level of care and ensuring patients’ safety, comfort, and well-being.

West Henderson Hospital is a 150-bed acute care hospital in the Valley Health System, serving patients with a variety of medical needs. Its services include emergency, cardiac, neurology, surgical, gastroenterology, imaging, laboratory, respiratory, and inpatient nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• At least two years of clinical experience.
• One to two years of progressive management experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care or services appropriate to the ages of patients served on the assigned unit or department.
