About The Position

Dandelion Health is seeking an experienced project manager to coordinate complex work across internal teams and external health system partners. The role oversees data extraction and de-identification across partner health systems, keeping deliveries on schedule, and serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day partnership operations and communication. The position works closely with engineering, privacy, and data teams at Dandelion and its health system partners. The successful candidate plans and drives large, multi-stakeholder projects without direct authority, anticipates risks, develops options and mitigation strategies, and maintains clear documentation. The role also requires sufficient data knowledge to scope extractions, identify quality issues, and work within privacy and compliance constraints. The position reports directly to the Chief Network Officer.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful large-scale project management, including initiating programs, driving delivery, and providing support when issues arise.
  • Ability to anticipate and adapt to change quickly.

  • Ability to understand and communicate across stakeholders’ objectives, motivations, restrictions, and dependencies.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to Dandelion’s five health system partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data extraction roadmaps across multiple health systems, including building business cases for new data sources and adjusting schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Build lasting relationships with health system partners across functional areas and serve as the operations main point of contact for the Dandelion partnership.
  • Drive and influence internal and external data and engineering teams autonomously.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including status reports, timelines, and resource plans tailored to different stakeholder audiences.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.
