Provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and technical direction for the enterprise network and telecommunications infrastructure supporting a large, multi-hospital healthcare system. Leads a team of network and telecommunications engineers responsible for the planning, design, implementation, project management, and lifecycle management of complex network, voice, wireless, and telecommunications solutions across 200+ ambulatory, administrative, and clinical locations, including 16 hospitals. This includes support for newly constructed facilities, growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and infrastructure modernization efforts. Based on the original role scope of leading implementation of network and telecommunications technologies to 200+ locations. Establishes strategic technology direction for enterprise connectivity, network services, telecommunications platforms, and associated operational processes to ensure high levels of availability, performance, security, scalability, and recoverability. Evaluates emerging technologies, develops long-term infrastructure roadmaps, and oversees the delivery of complex, multi-year initiatives that directly support patient care, clinical operations, and business objectives. Provides leadership for architecture governance, vendor management, capital planning, budgeting, project portfolio management, and IT service management processes. Partners closely with clinical, operational, and Information Services leadership to align technology investments with organizational priorities. Drives operational excellence through continuous process improvement, automation, AI-enabled tools, and adherence to industry and healthcare technology best practices. Based on the role's responsibility for architecture reviews, strategic technology direction, ITIL processes, and automation. This is a hybrid position in Columbus, OH.
