About The Position

DoorDash is seeking an experienced Manager, Meetings & Events Sourcing to build and lead the sourcing strategy for its global Meetings & Events program across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo. The role is part of Global Travel & Expense and owns the travel, sourcing, supplier, policy, and commercial components of meetings and events. It serves as the global directly responsible individual for Meetings & Events sourcing and reports to the Head of Global Travel & Expense. The position will develop a scalable sourcing framework for company meetings, offsites, and events, covering hotel and venue sourcing, contracting support, group travel strategy, preferred supplier relationships, and a global Meetings & Events policy. It will connect group meeting volume with the broader transient travel program to strengthen negotiations, improve preferred-program performance, reduce costs, and support a consistent employee experience. This is not an event-planning or workplace-programming role. The role owns the sourcing and travel ecosystem supporting meetings and events, including hotel room blocks, external meeting venues, group transportation, supplier negotiations, and the connection between group and transient travel. Success is measured by sourcing strategy, supplier performance, financial outcomes, policy adoption, risk management, and visibility into global Meetings & Events spend. The position may be remote within the United States, with an East Coast location preferred to support collaboration across North America and EMEA.

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in Meetings & Events, strategic sourcing, corporate travel, or hospitality, with expertise in global meetings and group travel.
Strong sourcing and negotiation skills, including hotel room blocks, venue contracts, attrition, cancellation terms, and supplier management.
Proven ability to drive savings and cost avoidance through preferred supplier programs, spend analysis, and leveraging combined group and transient travel volume.
Experience developing Meetings & Events policies, sourcing strategies, and scalable processes.
Strong project management and analytical capabilities.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, including experience managing global stakeholders.
Experience leveraging technology and AI to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

Build and own the global Meetings & Events sourcing strategy across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo, including hotel room blocks, meeting venues, group transportation, and preferred supplier partnerships.
Develop and implement a global Meetings & Events policy and sourcing framework, establishing consistent contracting, approval, compliance, and risk management standards.
Drive savings and cost avoidance through strategic negotiations, supplier consolidation, and leveraging combined group and transient travel volume across hotels, airlines, and transportation.
Partner with Workplace & Real Estate, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Executive Assistants, and business leaders to deliver scalable sourcing solutions and improve the employee experience.
Establish reporting, KPIs, and supplier performance management to increase visibility into global Meetings & Events spend, track savings, mitigate contractual risks, and improve program efficiency.
Own sourcing for hotel room blocks, external meeting venues, group transportation, supplier negotiations, and the connection between group and transient travel.
