The Manager, Medical Operations will manage Investigator Initiated Trails (IIT) ‑ level contracts, timelines, study product supply and financial processes (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, accruals, and forecasts) in accordance with policy and compliance requirements. This role primarily supports the Americas region and will be on-site in Fort Worth, TX .

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Certification
  • Vendor management, contracting, and procurement experience.
  • Good working knowledge of project and/or program management principles and process excellence concepts.
  • Good understanding of medical affairs, including clinical research, product development, investigator-initiated studies, health authority and local regulations.
  • Good working knowledge of collaboration platforms (MSOffice 365, SharePoint, etc.) and ERP platforms (SAP, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI-powered assistants (such as Copilot Chat), per company data protection and compliance standards, to generate content, summarize information, and support project management tasks.
  • Skilled in creating, reviewing, and delivering clear, accurate presentations and reports for diverse audiences.
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Implement regional/functional medical operations plans that align to MA strategy; coordinate with regional leaders to translate strategy into executable roadmaps and milestones.
  • Implement, maintain and support globally aligned KPIs, qualitative/quantitative metrics, reporting needs; steward data quality and documentation systems for accurate monthly/periodic metrics.
  • Serve as point of contact for IIT processes and systems: maintain databases and documentation; manage and coordinate contracts/SOWs, purchase orders, payments, and study product-supply workflows; provide process/systems support to Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) as needed.
  • Assist in tracking Share of Voice (SoV) activities for Congresses; partner with internal/external stakeholders to plan and execute key congress operations and agreed medical tactics.
  • Act as SME and first-line support for GMA customer relationship systems and related processes; deliver associate training and troubleshooting within defined governance.
  • Manage vendor onboarding and operational transactions (PO, invoices, accruals, forecasting) and support vendor relations to optimize value and compliance; ensure on-time, audit-ready execution.
  • Track regional IIT progress; facilitate meetings (agendas, minutes, actions); surface risks/issues and drive mitigations.
  • Identify and implement process simplification, standardization, and innovation opportunities across medical operations; apply process excellence concepts to improve quality and speed.
  • Provide mentorship and/or coaching to junior associates in a coordinator role.
