About The Position

Hims & Hers is seeking an outstanding Manager, Legal Programs (Product) to join their growing Product Legal function. This role is crucial for designing, building, and continuously improving the legal programs that ensure product, marketing, and supply chain compliance as the company scales. The position operates at the intersection of healthcare, technology, consumer products, and a rapidly scaling supply chain. The Manager will translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical, repeatable processes, focusing on program and process orientation to turn ambiguity into structure. This involves establishing intake workflows, review programs, documentation, and cross-functional playbooks within a fast-moving, highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of program or project management experience in legal, compliance, regulatory, or operations, ideally within a regulated industry such as healthcare, life sciences, consumer products, or e-commerce.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and building programs and processes from scratch, including intake, workflow, documentation, and governance design.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of: supply chain / vendor compliance, marketing / advertising compliance, or product regulatory compliance.
  • A track record of process creation and continuous improvement—mapping workflows, removing friction, and building repeatable playbooks, templates, and self-serve resources.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; comfort partnering with Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product, and Engineering stakeholders and translating between them.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage many workstreams simultaneously.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action; ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment and bring structure where none exists.
  • Proficiency with program/project management and collaboration tooling (e.g., ticketing/intake systems, trackers, and workflow automation).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in telehealth, digital health, pharmacy, or another regulated healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with privacy frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR) and/or advertising and product-claim regulations (e.g., FTC, FDA).
  • Experience supporting vendor due-diligence, third-party risk, or supplier onboarding programs.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CIPP, CIPM, or Six Sigma / process-improvement credentials).

Responsibilities

  • Design and stand up scalable legal compliance programs from the ground up, defining scope, intake, workflows, roles and responsibilities (RACI), SLAs, tooling, and documentation.
  • Map existing legal and compliance processes, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and continuously refine them; build repeatable playbooks, templates, checklists, and self-serve resources.
  • Partner cross functionally with Marketing Compliance and Product teams to create, maintain and update knowledge repositories and guidance documents for self-service tools.
  • Build and run the program that keeps advertising, promotional, and CRM content compliant, coordinating legal, regulatory, and medical/clinical review of claims and creative, maintaining substantiation and approval records, managing the review queue and turnaround times, and partnering with Marketing and Brand to bake compliance into their workflows.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Regulatory teams to operationalize compliance across sourcing, manufacturing, and fulfillment.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between Legal and business teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, AI/Privacy), running intake, triaging requests, coordinating stakeholder input, escalating matters, and tracking issues to resolution.
  • Project-manage risk assessments, audits, and reviews; maintain program artifacts such as trackers, inventories, records of decisions, and audit trails; and prepare status reporting and metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process, automation, and systems to create leverage; evaluate and implement tooling; and drive change management for adoption and sustainability of new programs and workflows.
