About The Position

Reporting to the VP Corporate Controller, the Manager, Internal Reporting is responsible for the Company’s internal consolidated financial reporting. This position also plays a key role in the Company’s quarterly and annual external financial reporting and in the preparation of financial reports for the Board and Audit Committee. This position is based out of Enerflex’s Downtown Calgary Corporate office.

Requirements

Professional Accounting Designation with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in multi-jurisdictional and multi-currency companies
Highly analytical and insightful with strong business acumen and experience in interpreting and communicating financial and business information
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to facilitate significant interaction with senior management and business unit leaders
Strong time management skills, enabling completion of responsibilities within required timelines
Collaborative, flexible and open leadership style, with a desire to develop a fun and rewarding work environment
Knowledge of IFRS and experience with complex accounting transactions
Experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP (ECC and BPC)

Responsibilities

Manages the monthly review of regional and consolidated financial reports
Ensures corporate accounting policies, procedures and internal controls are applied consistently
Oversees the company’s consolidation and planning system (SAP BPC)
Oversees the development of financial reports to be used at the regional and consolidated levels of the company
Supports the preparation and review of the quarterly and year-end financial statements
Assist in the continuous improvement of the reporting processes
Provides supervision, guidance and support to team of 4 accounting professionals
Promotes a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, collaboration and communication
