About The Position

LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Digital Engagement and Marketing team (DIG) is responsible for LA28’s marketing efforts, and within DIG sits the integrated marketing function. Integrated marketing develops go-to-market plans for all fan-facing programs. We lead the marketing approach, messaging strategy, narrative direction, campaign development, and go-to-market execution for the portfolio of LA28 programs including Ticketing, Volunteer, Torch, Mascot, and more. Integrated marketing works cross-functionally with our DIG counterparts who lead the LA28 social, web, email, and app platforms, as well as with a wide range of internal Functional Areas and external stakeholders. It is our responsibility to bring it all together, ensuring every program reaches the right audience with the right message across the right platforms. The Manager, Integrated Marketing - Narrative will be responsible for bringing to life the voice of the LA28 Games across all fan-facing touchpoints with a focus on owned digital platforms (social, email, web, app). The candidate should have a strong copywriting background with the ability to execute copy across a multitude of channels and asset types and move seamlessly between execution, editing, and strategic work. In addition to copy execution, this candidate will contribute to strategic and conceptual projects including, but not limited to, positioning and narrative strategies, messaging development, campaign ideation, and naming strategies. The role will require someone who is energized by a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment and able to intake, synthesize, and simplify lots of information quickly. The ideal candidate prides themselves on the production of flawless work, caring as much about comma placement as campaign concepts.
