About The Position

The Manager, Category Management supports the development of indirect procurement strategy and drives its adoption across the organization. The role manages the facilities indirect category, representing approximately $50 million in spend, and develops and executes category plans, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. The manager drives savings and spend optimization, improves procurement cycle times, and collaborates with stakeholders to support successful adoption of indirect procurement processes. The position involves approximately 10% global travel.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results and influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• 3–5 years of specific experience in category management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Commerce or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP; Ivalua experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the facilities indirect category, representing approximately $50 million in spend.
• Source contractors for facilities work and projects.
• Purchase facilities equipment, maintenance services and supplies, including HVAC, security, compressors, fire protection, waste management and utilities.
• Develop and execute strategic category plans, with approximately 40% strategic planning and 60% hands-on execution.
• Drive savings initiatives and optimize spend under management.
• Improve procurement cycle times for assigned categories.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support adoption of indirect procurement processes.
• Travel globally approximately 10% of the time.
