About The Position

The Home Visitation Manager is responsible for managing early childhood home visitation services for families. This includes overseeing the delivery of program services and managing employee performance and productivity. Ensures program services comply with organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of early childhood education/development and strategies to support families. Maintains knowledge on current research and innovations in the field.
  • Able to accurately assess the needs of individuals and families served to effectively lead program services.
  • Provides professional communication regarding services with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establishes and maintains successful interpersonal relationships and works cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership skills by clearly delegating responsibilities, providing regular feedback, building productive teams and developing employee skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and a variety of computer systems.
  • Must have bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child/adolescent development or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the area of early childhood education/development.
  • This position requires driving personal vehicle within regional area.
  • Must have reliable vehicle and maintain current driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Must complete and maintain all required trainings/certifications.
  • Must maintain confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day operations for the home visitation program, recruits families and builds relationships with community partners, and provides ongoing evaluation of program service and procedures.
  • Ensures adequate staffing through interviewing, hiring and onboarding/training new employees.
  • Provides effective coaching, feedback and performance evaluations. Monitors staff service hours and ensures team members are compliant with trainings and other required documentation.
  • Maintains and monitors program documentation and ensures compliance with organization, funder and accreditation requirements.
  • Develops and maintains productive working relationships with Children’s Division staff and other referral partners.
  • Attends professional development activities and conducts team meetings.
  • Performs home visits as needed.
