About The Position

The Manager will design, direct and produce all Baptist Health South Florida fundraising events (exclusive of the events at Mariner's Hospital, due to the distance where the Manager will serve in a consulting and collaborative role). The Manger will establish the annual event plan with input from the Director of Corporate Philanthropy & Fundraising Events, Foundation Executive and Board Leadership, the respective development officers and the hospital's CEOs. The Manager is responsible for the total execution of Foundation fundraising, cultivation and recognition events. The Manager is responsible for Event expense budget development and management. In collaboration with the Foundation CEO and the rest of the management team, the Manager will identify, cultivate and secure event chairmen and committee members. The Manager will recruit, train, supervise and retain volunteer staff to support the Foundation events. The manager will lead, organize and support the event committees. The Manager will develop and maintain targeted event invitation and attendee lists. With collaboration from Marketing, the Manager is responsible for all event collateral. Work proactively with staff, special event contracted and volunteer help, negotiate with vendors, for the successful production of Foundation events.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • Previous experience in all areas of event production
  • Minimum 5 Years of experience
