At Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens, fundraising events are one of our most powerful tools for building community and deepening donor relationships. The Development and Fundraising Events Manager plays a central role in advancing that work by ensuring our events are beautifully executed and strategically designed to identify, engage, and cultivate donors and prospects across the giving pipeline. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of Hillwood's two annual fundraising events, from concept to execution and follow-up, with a strong focus on donor engagement, cultivation, and retention. You will work closely with volunteer co-chairs to build active and effective event committees, analyze donor and prospect data to identify targets for engagement, and use our Tessitura database to document constituent interactions and support moves management strategies in coordination with the development team. A key part of your work will be translating event participation into long-term relationships. You will maintain consistent, timely outreach to donors and prospects before, during, and after events, ensuring each touchpoint strengthens their connection to Hillwood and advances them through the giving cycle.
