About The Position

Aypa Power, a Blackstone portfolio company, is a leading developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale energy storage and hybrid renewable projects. The company is seeking a Manager, FP&A Systems & Planning Technology to lead the administration, enhancement, and strategic development of its financial planning systems, with a primary focus on Workday Adaptive Planning. This role serves as the platform owner and subject matter expert for Adaptive Planning, responsible for its architecture, governance, and evolution. The position requires close collaboration with FP&A, Accounting, Development, Operations, and IT to ensure the planning systems support scalable forecasting, reporting, and financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong financial planning expertise and financial systems architecture experience, thriving in a dynamic environment where systems need to scale with a rapidly growing infrastructure platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial systems, FP&A systems administration, or finance technology roles.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience, including model design, reporting, dashboards, security, and data integrations.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience managing financial systems governance, data integrity, and model accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across finance, operations, and technology teams.
  • Ability to work in the United States is a requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in renewable energy, private equity, or similar capital-intensive investment environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the system owner and primary administrator for Workday Adaptive Planning, including architecture, metadata, security, and governance.
  • Design and maintain complex financial models, dashboards, and reporting to support company-wide planning and analysis.
  • Own and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the organization.
  • Develop scalable self-service reporting and analytics capabilities for finance leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Define and maintain financial planning system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.
  • Manage system configuration and integrations, including calculated accounts, versions, security, and data pipelines.
  • Develop and execute the FP&A planning technology roadmap, driving automation, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting, Development, Operations, IT, and data teams to deliver scalable system solutions.
  • Lead user enablement, documentation, training, and ongoing system support to ensure strong adoption and performance.
