About The Position

Nimble Gravity is hiring a hands-on engineering leader to build and coach a distributed team of forward deployed engineers across the Americas. The role turns ambiguous client business problems into AI systems running in production, while maintaining direct involvement in engineering work and identifying opportunities to expand client engagements. The manager is accountable for delivery across multiple concurrent client engagements and serves as a technical voice with clients. They lead demos, architecture sessions, and workshops that demonstrate Claude Code and Claude Cowork in client environments; contribute to prototyping and design reviews; and help the team deliver agentic workflows, tool use, MCP integrations, and evaluation. The role also establishes reusable engineering practices and collaborates with data, cloud, and digital engineering teams to deliver end-to-end outcomes. The position calls for substantial software engineering experience, technical team leadership, client-facing delivery skills, and hands-on experience building LLM-powered and agentic systems. Meaningful overlap with US Eastern and Central working hours is expected. The interview process consists of a recruiter interview, two technical interviews, and a final interview with the VP, AI Applied Solutions.

  • Strong Python or TypeScript skills, plus solid API design, CI/CD, and cloud fundamentals in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly to executives and engineers.
  • Availability for meaningful working-hours overlap with US Eastern and Central time.
  • A track record of taking ambiguous problems to production.

  • Experience with AI governance, security, and responsible-use practices in enterprise settings.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Background in data science or formal engineering training.
  • Experience in a consulting or professional services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, coach, and grow forward deployed engineers across the USA and LATAM, building trust, clear communication, and shared standards across time zones.
  • Own scope, quality, timelines, and outcomes across multiple concurrent client engagements.
  • Lead client demos, architecture sessions, and delivery workshops that show how Claude Code and Claude Cowork can work in client environments.
  • Stay close to the code by prototyping, reviewing designs, and unblocking the team on agentic workflows, tool use, MCP integrations, and evaluation.
  • Identify client expansion opportunities and partner with account leadership to shape and scope the next phase of work.
  • Build reusable patterns, accelerators, and playbooks for the team.
  • Collaborate with data, cloud, and digital engineering teams to deliver end-to-end outcomes.
