About The Position

We are seeking a Manager, Financial Operations & Strategic Initiatives, to join our team on a 12-month contract. This role will support a high-priority Dealer Integration initiative and act as a key bridge between Finance and cross-functional teams. As a dedicated project resource, you will provide financial oversight and expertise to ensure consistent, controlled, and scalable financial operations across multiple advisor platforms. You will play a critical role in identifying risks, shaping solutions, and supporting the successful delivery of integration milestones.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in financial operations, accounting, and internal controls
  • Ability to analyze complex scenarios and make sound, risk-informed recommendations
  • Proven experience influencing and collaborating with cross-functional and senior stakeholders
  • Experience in process improvement, transformation, or integration initiatives
  • Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, project-based environment

Nice To Haves

  • Wealth management industry experience is preferred
  • CPA designation is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial expertise and advisory support on integration initiatives, including accounting, money movement, commissions, and system flows
  • Support Dealer platform integration and process harmonization across business units
  • Lead current-state process mapping and gap analysis within financial operations
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of future-state standardized processes
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and operational impacts related to integration activities
  • Support process engineering, testing, and implementation phases of the project
  • Collaborate with Finance, Wealth, Dealer Operations, and Technology teams
  • Represent Financial Operations in project forums, planning sessions, and decision discussions
  • Drive process efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives
