About The Position

The Manager, Finance prepares financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts to guide company financial decisions. The role oversees budget creation and management, ensuring resources are allocated effectively, and produces regular financial reports for senior management, stakeholders, and board members. It also supports compliance with financial regulations and standards, identifies and manages financial risks, directs investment activities and strategies, and supervises and trains finance staff. The position performs other assigned duties and complies with company policies and standards.

PFG Specialty is a family of premium center-of-the-plate processing companies serving restaurants. Its professionals source, process, and distribute meat and seafood, with facilities in New England, Wisconsin, and Florida.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5–7 years of related experience.
• 6 months–1 year of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts to guide company financial decisions.
• Oversee the creation and management of budgets and ensure financial resources are allocated effectively.
• Produce regular financial reports and present them to senior management, stakeholders, and board members.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and work with auditors to maintain proper financial practices.
• Identify and manage financial risks to protect company assets and ensure financial stability.
• Direct investment activities and develop strategies to maximize returns and support long-term financial goals.
• Supervise and train finance staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
