About The Position

Manages, plans, and organizes the staff and activities of facilities maintenance. Ensures contracts and service agreements meet facility standards and needs. Oversees equipment and facilities maintenance and repair.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
6–8 years of relevant experience.
2–5 years of leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership to Facilities Management team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding them toward achieving department objectives.
Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals aligned with the health system.
Selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection, development, management, and evaluation of indirect reports.
Manages maintenance and repair schedules for equipment and facilities.
Ensures contracts and service agreements meet facility standards and needs.
Builds and maintains productive interdepartmental, intradepartmental, and vendor relationships to optimize operations.
Recommends, implements, and adheres to approved operating goals, objectives, and budget.
Reports operational performance, justification, and corrective action.
Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.
