About The Position

Manager, Event Office & Staffing is responsible for overseeing all event staffing operations to ensure the seamless execution of Avenue Events, Full Floor Buyouts, and Dual Floor Buyouts. This role serves as the central point of contact for staffing logistics, scheduling strategy, and real-time execution, ensuring the right teams are in place to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality and events environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in staffing operations, scheduling, hospitality, or events management preferred
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume staffing needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling or workforce management systems
  • High attention to detail and strong operational awareness
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all event staffing logistics, including scheduling, shift assignments, and coverage planning across multiple event types
  • Develop and maintain a strong, reliable staffing pool to support operational needs and fluctuating business volumes
  • Create and oversee staff schedules based on event requirements, business priorities, and labor targets
  • Communicate event assignments, reporting times, locations, uniforms, and event-specific expectations to all scheduled staff and agency partners
  • Confirm staff attendance and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, call-outs, and last-minute changes to ensure full coverage
  • Partner closely with Operations Managers, Event Producers, and Department Leaders to forecast staffing needs and align coverage with event scope and service standards
  • Monitor staffing levels in real time during events and adjust as needed to support operational flow and guest experience
  • Track attendance, punctuality, and overall staffing performance, escalating concerns to leadership as needed
  • Support payroll and timekeeping processes by validating schedules, attendance, and hours worked.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all staffing-related inquiries, providing timely and solutions-driven support
  • Generate and analyze staffing reports to support labor planning, workforce optimization, and operational efficiencies
  • Ensure all staffing practices align with company standards, safety guidelines, and operational procedures
  • Coordinate staffing needs with external agency partners and maintain strong working relationships to support business demands
  • Identify opportunities to improve staffing processes, communication, and execution to enhance overall event performance
  • Support additional operational projects and initiatives as needed to drive business success.
  • Assist and / or complete additional tasks as assigned
