About The Position

We're looking for a Manager, Event & Field Marketing to own our global event program end to end. This is a senior individual contributor role, you won't manage people, but you will own outcomes: the strategy, the calendar, the budget, and the pipeline our events are accountable for. You'll take full ownership of our virtual event program: the virtual DEMOFEST, the largest virtual event in Presales, plus RevAMP and our webinar program, which you'll have a mandate to rebuild rather than maintain. You'll also own our regional and external field event strategy across the U.S. and Europe, from first-party dinners and roadshows to the sponsored conferences we invest in. And you'll partner closely with the Sr. Manager, Field Marketing on our in-person DEMOFEST experiences. This is a role for someone who has already run an event program and is ready to own one outright — the number it carries, the budget behind it, and the decisions about what we stop doing.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in event, field, or integrated marketing in a B2B SaaS environment, with clear ownership of a program's results — not just its execution.
  • Proven experience running both virtual and in-person events, including at least one large-format or flagship program you owned end to end.
  • Comfortable owning a number. You can connect event activity to pipeline, explain what worked, and make the call to kill what didn't.
  • Budget ownership experience, including vendor negotiation and managing spend across a multi-event calendar.
  • Exceptional project management. You'll run several events in parallel, at different stages, with minimal oversight.
  • Strong writer. You can produce the promotional copy, session abstracts, and speaker communications yourself rather than routing everything elsewhere.
  • Confident with people — equally comfortable in front of executives, speakers, vendors, and a room full of attendees.
  • Fluency with the marketing stack (marketing automation, CRM, webinar and virtual event platforms). HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Nice To Haves

  • HubSpot experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the virtual event program: Own the virtual DEMOFEST and RevAMP end to end — strategy, theme, speaker recruitment, promotion, production, and post-event analysis — and grow registration, attendance, and engagement year over year.
  • Rebuild our webinar program from the ground up: set the content strategy, build the calendar, own execution, and hold the program to pipeline and engagement targets rather than volume.
  • Define what success looks like for each program before it launches, then report results against it to marketing leadership and the broader GTM team.
  • Own regional and external field events: Build and run the regional field event strategy across the U.S. and Europe — first-party dinners, roadshows, and customer gatherings.
  • Own the external and sponsored event portfolio: evaluate opportunities, negotiate packages, set the bar for what we say yes to, and cut what isn't returning.
  • Drive pre-event, on-site, and post-event demand motions with Demand Generation and Sales Development so every event has a pipeline plan behind it, not just a presence.
  • Support the in-person DEMOFEST experiences, partnering with the Sr. Manager, Field Marketing on planning and on-site execution.
  • Run the program like an owner: Own the event marketing budget: forecast it, spend it deliberately, and defend the allocation with results.
  • Manage vendors, agencies, and contractors — set the scope, hold them to it, and keep quality high as the program scales.
  • Use data to make calls. Build the reporting that shows what each event returned, and use it to reallocate budget and effort for the next cycle.
  • Communicate plans, progress, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
