About The Position

Swarmia is seeking an Event Marketing Manager to own the company's North American events strategy and execution. This role involves co-producing events with partners, managing conference sponsorships, and ensuring Swarmia has a strong presence at industry gatherings. As the first person in this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the position and potentially build a team in the future. Swarmia is a fast-growing engineering intelligence platform that has raised $11M in Series A funding.

Requirements

Prior experience in field, partner, or events marketing, preferably in dev tools or a related field targeting a technical audience.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple events and vendors simultaneously in a chaotic environment.
Comfort with hands-on operational tasks.
Ability to engage in conversations about engineering and developer productivity.
Based in or near New York City.
Willingness to travel for conferences and out-of-town events.

Responsibilities

Own the North American events calendar, including strategy, event lineup, and results.
Build a partner network by co-producing events with field marketing professionals from complementary companies.
Manage conference presence, including sponsorship negotiation, booth and speaking slot coordination, logistics, and ROI assessment.
Collaborate with sales teams (account executives and BDRs) on invite lists and post-event follow-up.
Handle hands-on event logistics, such as venue selection, material ordering, and on-site setup.
Act as a brand representative for Swarmia at events.
Track and report on pipeline impact from events, using data to inform future strategies.
