About The Position

Shield AI is hiring an Engineering Manager for its Hivemind Integration & Test team. The team integrates, validates, and continuously improves the Hivemind autonomy ecosystem, including autonomy behaviors, sensor processing, multi-agent coordination, ground-control systems, and embedded platforms. Its work enables developers to build, test, and deploy autonomous applications for real-world mission objectives. The manager will lead a team integrating, validating, and scaling the Hivemind autonomy platform across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and operational environments. The role combines technical leadership and people management with hands-on system integration, validation, and customer-focused work. As a power user of the Hivemind SDK, the manager will understand its capabilities, identify customer-facing gaps, and drive platform improvements. Working with Engineering, Product, and Program teams, this role will integrate autonomy capabilities, evaluate feature completeness, and help customers build, test, and deploy mission-ready autonomous systems.
