About The Position

Ford is seeking a Manager, Digital Product Strategy to shape portfolio choices and turn the company's ambition to connect vehicles, digital products, dealers, and services into clear decisions, measurable outcomes, and execution. The role leads complex work connecting enterprise and Integrated Services priorities to Digital Product strategy, portfolio investments, and delivery. Working with the Director of Digital Product Strategy and senior Digital Product leaders, the manager brings together Product, Design, Engineering, Finance, and business partners to develop evidence-backed recommendations and compelling narratives. The manager sets portfolio direction across the retail ecosystem, intuitive experiences, vehicle capabilities, and Ford Pro Intelligence; evaluates investment and roadmap proposals; and develops build, buy, and partner recommendations. The role connects customer journeys across vehicles, apps, dealers, services, and Ford Pro, and uses customer and business measures to assess strategic bets and identify evidence gaps. It also links strategy to roadmaps, surfaces funding and capacity dependencies, and structures portfolio reviews around evidence, trade-offs, and clear decisions. The position owns executive-facing strategy narratives and independently leads complex cross-functional workstreams through influence. It also coaches problem solving and executive storytelling within the strategy team. The role is leadership level 6, requires willingness to work EST time zone hours, and does not offer visa sponsorship.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Product Strategy, or a related field, including ownership of complex analysis and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, assess a portfolio of bets, test assumptions, build business cases, and make explicit recommendations and trade-offs.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills, including the ability to turn complex analysis into clear, persuasive, decision-ready stories.
  • Ability to manage several high-priority workstreams and deliver rigorous work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to connect customer needs, product choices, platform and delivery constraints, business outcomes, and enterprise priorities.
  • Ability to align cross-functional leaders through trust, sound judgment, and a candid view of evidence and risks.
  • Must be willing to work EST time zone hours.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to communicate arguments through high-quality presentation design or lightweight concepting.

Responsibilities

  • Translate enterprise and Integrated Services priorities into Digital Product portfolio strategy across the retail ecosystem, customer experiences, vehicle capabilities, Ford Pro Intelligence, and Ford's lifestyle domains.
  • Evaluate product and roadmap proposals for strategic fit, customer value, reach, business value, confidence, timing, delivery capacity, and evidence gaps; recommend where to invest, sustain, or pull back.
  • Develop build, buy, and partner recommendations, making economics, trade-offs, dependencies, customer experience, and strategic control points explicit.
  • Track customer needs, competitors, platform shifts, and partner moves; test strategic assumptions and identify threats and opportunities.
  • Connect vehicle, app, dealer, service, and Ford Pro journeys to recommend product direction, packaging, partnerships, and investment choices.
  • Tie strategic priorities to proposed roadmaps and established objectives and measures; surface funding, engineering-capacity, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Partner with metric and performance-reporting owners to assess initiatives, customer behaviors, business outcomes, evidence gaps, and potential adjustments.
  • Structure portfolio reviews and strategic deep dives around evidence, options, trade-offs, and clear asks; document decisions and owners and support follow-through to execution.
  • Develop evidence-backed materials for Digital Product and Integrated Services leaders, executive forums, and Board discussions.
  • Lead complex cross-functional workstreams with Product, Design, Engineering, Finance, Retail, Ford Pro, and service partners, building alignment without direct control of their funding or capacity.
  • Coach clear problem solving and executive storytelling, and model rigor, ownership, practical follow-through, and a low-ego approach.
