The Manager for Day Service Program is responsible for ensuring person-centered services for people supported so that they may reach their potential with equal opportunity and fully participate in the community around them.

Requirements

Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual disability.
Strong relationship building skills and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach in resolving issues.
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Demonstrate ability to advocate and promote self-advocacy.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office / Outlook.
Manual dexterity required to use desktop/laptop computers or other devices.
Valid Manitoba Class 5F (Full) Driver's License and access to vehicle, willingness to transport person supported required.
Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, with clear Vulnerable Sector Search, a clear Child and Adult Abuse Registry Check. Document will be considered current if obtained no more than 3 months to start of employment

Nice To Haves

A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience is preferred
experience and education/training in the Disability sector considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Provide effective leadership within a fast-paced environment
Ensure a high level of individual and team performance
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures and initiatives
Have daily responsibility for staff scheduling and documentation
Oversee day-to-day service delivery
Ensure a commitment to the vision, mission and values of enVision
