Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities is a national charity committed to helping kids of all abilities in communities across Canada participate in sport, recreation, and play. At Jumpstart, we understand that for kids, the opportunity to play is about much more than getting active. Sport and being part of a team foster self-esteem and teach valuable life skills like courage, confidence, and teamwork. The vision of Jumpstart is simple: to make life in Canada better for children and youth through providing access to affordable sport. Canadian Tire Corporation is proud to fund 100% of Jumpstart’s general and administrative costs, allowing donations to go directly to helping kids. The Manager, Data Strategy and Measurement, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) will play a key part in Jumpstart’s commitment to strengthening community sport across Canada, and in ensuring all kids have an opportunity to realize the transformational benefits of participating in sport and play. Specifically, the role will support the development and implementation of an organization-wide data strategy that understands the needs of children & youth, steers what and why Jumpstart invests in, and supports delivery across the organization. In addition, the Manager, Data Strategy & MEL will manage and support the design, delivery and evolution of Jumpstart’s MEL framework across the organization to ensure Jumpstart programs continue to deepen impact on kids and communities across Canada.
