Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of email marketing experience with previous experience with any enterprise-level ESP implementation
  • Strong technical skillset to use JavaScript / HTML to build triggered email campaigns
  • Data driven mindset and approach to monitor performance of campaigns
  • Knowledge of nuances of email deliverability and maintaining of health of email list
  • Understanding of how to use segmentation to create personalized email messages
  • Strong HTML knowledge to code and deploy emails
  • Ability to work cross functionally to drive results
  • Detail oriented and strong work ethic to deliver in a timely fashion
  • Experience with MS Excel and/or Google Sheets

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Blueshift, Marketo, Kickbox and Email on Acid preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our email marketing program, from building emails via HTML through campaign deployment and reporting
  • Partner with Head of CRM to develop a Lifecycle marketing strategy and bring it to life
  • Use web triggers and customer lifecycle triggers to execute a lifecycle marketing program
  • Iterate execution and plans based on results in a test and learn fashion
  • Work with creative team to bring stories to life in appropriate form factor
  • Use CRM platform (currently Blueshift) to build email templates and send campaigns, implementing personalization through dynamic content and utilizing A/B testing when possible
  • Code and develop emails in HTML to deploy using CRM platform
  • QA existing campaigns prior to deployment.
  • Monitor our email deliverability and reputation and address issues when necessary.
  • Monitor engagement metrics such as open and click rate and develop tactics for optimization
