About The Position

The Rideau Hall Foundation (RHF) is seeking a Manager, Corporate Philanthropy & Partnerships to develop, manage, and grow a national portfolio of corporate donors, sponsors, and strategic partners in support of the Rideau Hall Foundation’s (RHF) philanthropic and mission-driven priorities, including Realize Ambition, RHF’s $250 million national campaign to ignite Canadian ambition and shape a brighter future for all Canadians. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, this role leads corporate partnership development, cultivation, stewardship, and renewal efforts, while securing philanthropic investments and sponsorships that advance RHF's mission and revenue goals. The Manager collaborates with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, and build meaningful, long-term partnerships across Canada.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate fundraising, sponsorship, business development, partnerships, or related relationship management roles.
  • Demonstrated success securing and managing five- and six-figure corporate partnerships, sponsorships, or philanthropic investments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex pipelines and advance multiple partnership opportunities simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems, donor relationship management systems, donor moves management strategies, and pipeline management practices and tools.
  • Experience in a national charitable, public sector, educational, cultural, or social impact organization.
  • Experience supporting national campaigns, leadership giving initiatives, or high-profile partnerships.
  • Familiarity with corporate ESG and community investment frameworks.
  • Proficient in developing, managing, and stewarding corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and philanthropic investments.
  • Strong relationship-building, networking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong proposal writing, presentation, negotiation, and stewardship capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of the Canadian corporate philanthropy, sponsorship, ESG, and community investment landscape.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, planning, and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Proficient in collaborating across departments and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, accountability, integrity, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with strong cultural awareness, sensitivity, and service orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a national portfolio of corporate donors, sponsors, prospects, and strategic partners.
  • Develop and execute customized cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and renewal strategies.
  • Identify, qualify, and advance corporate prospects through all stages of the partnership pipeline.
  • Secure philanthropic investments, sponsorships, employee engagement opportunities, and partnership agreements.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of corporate opportunities with measurable revenue and engagement targets.
  • Maintain accurate records, forecasting, and relationship activity within RHF's CRM system.
  • Develop strategic partnerships aligned with corporate social responsibility, ESG, community investment, and RHF priorities.
  • Create partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, presentations, stewardship reports, and customized engagement opportunities.
  • Support the renewal and growth of existing partnerships through proactive relationship management and impact storytelling.
  • Monitor corporate philanthropy, sponsorship, ESG, and community investment trends while identifying emerging partnership opportunities.
  • Contribute to annual fundraising and partnership planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Participate as a member of staff committees in support of organizational initiatives as required.
