The Advancement team cultivates, solicits, and stewards philanthropic foundations, government and corporate partners who invest in the Society to drive impact through science, technology, education, exploration, and storytelling. The team collaborates with Society teams – and often works closely with NGP/Disney – to build transformative and impact-driven strategic partnerships. The team also produces global events that deepen connections and leverage the Society’s power to convene, and directs robust annual, major and planned giving programs empowering the Society with a broad base of public support. The Manager, Corporate Partnerships is a key member of the Institutional Partnerships Team responsible for dedicated corporate partnership engagement. This role requires strong attention to detail, project management skills, and clear communication tailored for senior leadership. The Manager handles day-to-day relationship management, tracks project milestones, and prepares deliverables and materials for executive-level meetings. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Partnerships and located at the Society’s headquarters office in Washington, DC, the Manager, Corporate Partnerships will collaborate across the Advancement, Communications, and Programs teams to implement successful, multi-faceted corporate partnership activities. They will be a creative, solutions-oriented professional with demonstrated experience in building successful corporate partnerships that leverage meaningful impact to meet mutual business objectives. They will steward a portfolio of high-impact, high-value partnerships, ensuring strategic alignment across internal teams and external partners, while driving measurable impact and deepening engagement to advance shared partnership goals.
