Requirements
- Proven experience managing construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and compliance with design standards.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, architects, and engineering firms.
- Expertise in tracking project milestones, identifying risks, and escalating issues appropriately.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Skilled in reviewing contractor requests and managing change orders to minimize delays and costs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to maintain alignment with stakeholders.
- Commitment to integrity, ethical standards, and continuous improvement in project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related area and 1 year’s experience in construction management, construction administration, engineering, architecture, or related area.
- 3 years’ experience in construction management, construction administration, engineering, architecture, or related area.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in compliance in construction and real estate management or related area.
- Experience in large-scale retail, industrial, or multi-site construction program delivery.
- Experience in procurement and contract management processes for construction services.
- Experience with construction project management platforms (for example, Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
- Experience with sustainability, energy efficiency, and green building standards (for example, LEED or equivalent).
- Professional certification (PMP, CCM, LEED AP, or equivalent).
Responsibilities
- Manage daily execution of construction projects to ensure timely, on-scope, and on-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and documentation.
- Review and validate construction drawings, submittals, and specifications prior to procurement and construction start.
- Track project milestones, identify risks, and escalate issues to leadership and partners to maintain progress.
- Oversee compliance with building codes, safety, environmental, and company standards throughout construction.
- Serve as primary contact for external partners, facilitating issue resolution and alignment on deliverables.
- Monitor vendor performance and prepare status, budget, and issue reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
