Manager - Community Supported Living (WI)
About The Position
The CSL Program Manager directs and supports all aspects of Community Supported Living operations in their region. Working with key functional areas, the manager helps ensure quality supports and budget compliance, implements Individual and Behavioral Support Plans, supervises individuals’ supports, and oversees ongoing program development. The role includes supervising Direct Support Professionals who work in individuals’ homes and apartments, managing staffing and coverage, and providing support and services when other staff are unavailable. It also includes on-call responsibilities and direct care. The manager is responsible for maintaining safe home environments that reflect residents’ needs and preferences and comply with organizational policies and applicable regulations, as well as fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience managing behaviors and diverse medical needs.
- Associate degree or higher.
- Strong leadership and development skills.
- Knowledge of budget management.
Responsibilities
- Direct and support all aspects of regional Community Supported Living operations.
- Work with key functional areas to ensure quality supports and budget compliance.
- Implement Individual and Behavioral Support Plans, supervise individuals’ supports, and oversee ongoing program development.
- Train, supervise, schedule, and conduct performance appraisals for Direct Support Professionals working in the programs.
- Ensure individuals’ needs and desires are met or exceeded through targeted staffing.
- Manage personnel and ensure staff coverage of the program at all times.
- Provide program supports and services when other staff are unavailable, including providing care to individuals supported.
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities.
- Create and maintain safe home environments that meet individuals’ needs and preferences and comply with organizational policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
