Supported Living - Manager
About The Position
Flathead Industries provides services and programs designed to support people with intellectual disabilities in achieving their life goals. The Supported Living Team Manager oversees multiple caseloads of clients receiving Supported Living Services funded by the Developmental Disability Program. The manager provides services to people with developmental disabilities to help them achieve their individualized goals in community residences and Flathead Industries-owned complexes. The position also supervises assigned staff who support clients in pursuing the vision, outcomes, and actions in their Person-Centered Plans. This is a 40-hour-per-week position with benefits, paying $25.00 per hour. The tentative schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, plus completion of occupationally specific training.
- Ability to pass criminal and other background checks.
- Montana driver's license and a good driving record sufficient to meet company vehicle insurance insurability requirements.
- Ability to perform the position's responsibilities.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional, effective, and harmonious working relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, consumers, family members, medical professionals, community members, and other stakeholders.
- Critical-thinking and positive decision-making skills.
- Ability to safely and frequently lift, move, or otherwise handle items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to process information, use necessary computer software, and navigate a computer.
- Ability to write clearly and speak in public, and to give, receive, interpret, and apply verbal and written instructions and directions.
- At least six months of experience in the human services field.
Responsibilities
