Requirements

Extensive experience in acquisition, residential property development, asset divestment, housing programs or similar complex delivery environments.
Demonstrated capability in business case development, financial modelling and commercial decision-making and delivering programs aligned to government strategies and policy frameworks.
High-level strategic, conceptual, analytic, and creative skills, with the ability to understand and make sound judgments about the political, social and organisational environment impacting on the Agency.
Conviction checks in the following areas: crimes of violence, sex related offences, serious drug offences, crimes involving dishonesty, serious traffic offences (If Driver's License is an Essential Requirement).
Identification check
Disciplinary action in previous employment check.

Tertiary qualifications in economics, property, project management or the built environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver acquisitions, residential development, property sales, shared equity programs and marketing initiatives that increase housing supply and home ownership opportunities in Tasmania.
Ensure the effective planning, delivery, and performance of programs aligned with Homes Tasmania’s strategic objectives, the Tasmanian Housing Strategy, and relevant Commonwealth initiatives.
