Manager, Commercial Partnerships

Skadi Cyber DefenseBracebridge, ON
$85,000 - $95,000Onsite

About The Position

SKADI Cyber Defense Corporation is a Canadian cybersecurity company building Frostbow, an autonomous cybersecurity platform that uses ontological AI to fundamentally rethink how organizations detect and respond to threats. Where traditional cybersecurity relies on manually written rules that can never keep pace with attackers, Frostbow learns by observing network behavior and autonomously forms security concepts without programming, achieving 99.6% autonomous alert closure in production. We are a small, high-velocity team backed by $1.245M in non-dilutive federal funding, with active channel partnerships spanning Canada, the US, the UK, and Japan. Our commercial launch began in February 2025, and we are now scaling our go-to-market motion across defense supply chain, critical infrastructure, and regulated enterprise verticals. The Opportunity We are hiring a Manager, Commercial Partnerships to own and build SKADI’s revenue engine. This is a foundational role: you will be the first dedicated commercial hire responsible for pipeline generation, channel partner management, and deal execution. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with leadership to shape how Frostbow reaches the market. This is not a role where you inherit a playbook. You will build it. If you have a track record of taking complex products into new markets, establishing repeatable sales processes, and growing revenue through both direct and partner-led motions, this role will give you the ownership and upside to match.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, partnerships, or customer success with demonstrated revenue impact.
  • Proven track record of building sales or customer success processes from scratch in early-stage or high-growth environments.
  • Experience managing enterprise-level partner and client relationships, including C-level stakeholder engagement and quarterly business reviews.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical products into clear, compelling value propositions for non-technical buyers.
  • Self-directed operator who thrives with autonomy and can context-switch between strategic planning, tactical execution, and hands-on customer engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable creating professional proposals, presentations, and enablement materials.
  • Based in Canada with legal authorization to work.
  • Ability to travel domestically and to the US as needed.
  • Ability to work full-time, in person, from our Bracebridge office
  • Located in Northern Ontario or willing to relocate at your own expense

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, managed services, or compliance-driven markets.
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes, defense supply chain requirements, or frameworks such as CMMC, CPCSC, NIST 800-171, or SOC 2.
  • Background in product management, solutions engineering, or technical pre-sales that gives you fluency in product-led conversations.
  • Experience working with or selling through channel partners and resellers.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian defense industrial base, CADSI ecosystem, or DND procurement landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute SKADI’s outbound sales motion targeting small and mid-size enterprises in the defense supply chain, critical infrastructure, and regulated industries.
  • Develop and refine the compliance-driven sales narrative, positioning Frostbow as the path to Canadian Program for Cyber Security Certification (CPCSC) and CMMC compliance for organizations that lack dedicated security operations teams.
  • Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities from initial outreach through close, owning the full sales cycle for deals in your territory.
  • Build pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting processes that give leadership clear visibility into commercial progress.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for SKADI’s channel and technology partners, including existing partnerships in the UK, US, and Japan.
  • Support partners through onboarding, enablement, joint go-to-market planning, and proof-of-concept execution.
  • Identify and develop new channel relationships that extend Frostbow’s market reach into verticals and geographies we cannot cover through direct sales alone.
  • Manage partner communications, quarterly business reviews, and co-selling activities.
  • Create and maintain the sales collateral, battle cards, and competitive positioning materials that make Frostbow’s value proposition clear and repeatable.
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concept presentations, and technical walkthroughs tailored to different buyer personas.
  • Represent SKADI at industry conferences, trade shows, and defense procurement events.
  • Contribute market intelligence and buyer feedback to inform product roadmap and positioning decisions.
  • Support SKADI’s entry into government and defense procurement channels, including RFP identification and response.
  • Develop relationships within the Canadian defense industrial base, DND procurement ecosystem, and allied defense communities.
  • Track and pursue relevant set-aside programs, standing offers, and supply arrangement opportunities.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ($85-95k base) plus performance-based variable compensation tied to pipeline and revenue milestones.
  • Equity participation – this is an early-stage opportunity with meaningful ownership upside.
  • The chance to build something from the ground floor at a company solving one of cybersecurity’s hardest problems with genuinely differentiated technology.
  • A team that values substance over process, moves fast, and trusts each other to deliver.
