The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial finance acumen and a keen interest in understanding the underlying reasons for financial performance. This position will support revenue performance narratives for senior leadership and board-level materials, collaborate with Commercial and Sales Operations on go-to-market (GTM) reporting, and assist in maintaining the reporting infrastructure essential for in-quarter decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years experience.
  • Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets skills, with the ability to build, troubleshoot, and maintain complex reporting files independently.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities with the ability to work across multiple data sources and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to format data clearly for executive audiences and draft concise commentary.
  • Experience supporting executive-level reporting (KPI reviews, Board materials, SLT presentations).
  • Ability to ramp quickly on existing processes and deliver reliably with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Experience in commercial finance / sales finance, preferably in a high-growth or ad tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own recurring revenue reporting workflows, including daily/weekly file maintenance, revenue trackers, attainment dashboards, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery on a daily basis.
  • Prepare and update executive materials for KPI reviews, Board of Directors presentations, and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings, including slide updates and supporting data files.
  • Conduct variance analysis on revenue movements and provide clear, concise commentary explaining the 'what' and 'why' behind performance trends.
  • Support quarterly sales target-setting by assembling bottom-up data, reconciling against top-down forecasts, and identifying risks and opportunities for leadership discussion.
  • Oversee the commercial commission review process, synthesizing attainment data, identifying trends, and providing analysis to inform leadership's compensation and incentive decisions.
  • Execute ad-hoc analyses for Revenue, GTM, and Commercial leadership to support in-quarter decision-making.
  • Maintain and improve core financial reporting infrastructure, identifying opportunities to enhance accuracy, reduce manual effort, and improve consistency across deliverables.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue, Sales Operations, and GTM teams to understand business drivers and translate them into financial context.
