About The Position

Inova Health is seeking a Manager of Clinic Operations Management to lead clinic operations for the Cardiology team at Fair Oaks. This is a full-time role with a Monday-to-Friday schedule. The manager oversees outpatient practice performance, working with the Director of Outpatient Practices or another designated leader to resolve operational issues and support effective practice operations. Responsibilities include coordinating provider schedules, monitoring patient volume and access, ensuring patient service and satisfaction, maintaining regulatory compliance, and working with related departments to identify financial improvement opportunities. The role may also involve hiring and training team members, implementing business strategies, managing team performance, and delegating work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or four years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• One year of healthcare leadership experience, or completion of a 12-month healthcare administrative fellowship program, and two years of experience in healthcare operations in an ambulatory or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to practice processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with the Director of Outpatient Practices or another designated leader to resolve issues within established deadlines.
• Coordinate provider office schedules and monitor patient volumes, patient access, and service levels to support patient satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with requirements of federal and state authorities and other external governing authorities.
• Partner with departments such as Physician Billing, Patient Financial Services, and Medical Records to identify opportunities for financial improvement.
• Oversee outpatient practice operations with the Director of Outpatient Practices or another designated leader to support effective performance.
• Hire and train team members, create and implement business strategies, manage team performance, and delegate tasks as needed.
