About The Position

We are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Manager, Client Development to join our Client Development team. As the Manager of Client Development, you will manage new client acquisition by working closely with the Director of Client Development and the broader Client Development team to support the growth of new business. You will be called upon to qualify potential new client opportunities, craft scopes for potential new partners and pitch to new clients as needed. You are motivated by finding creative solutions for clients while drawing on your understanding of the client’s needs/wants, available agency services, and the broader landscape. This is a strategic position that requires organization, adaptability, resilience, and an ability to partner effectively with the rest of the Client Development team to create opportunities and win new business.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience in business development with a customer-first mentality (agency-side experience is a plus).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication, matched with strong analytical and organizational capabilities
  • The ability and desire to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence when approaching negotiations and/or challenging conversations
  • Good understanding of CRM systems
  • Proven experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office apps
  • Interest and experience with YouTube and/or social video platforms
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiating, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, energetic, and willing to thrive in a high-growth organization
  • Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of new client relationships and day-to-day engagement, representing Little Dot Studios with integrity and expertise and acting as a valuable resource for clients
  • Identify strategic initiatives to grow and adapt the Little Dot Studios new business effort to align with market conditions and client needs
  • Maintain and continuously improve the client development workflow and supporting toolkit
  • Support the new business pitch process by working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to build and present compelling proposals across multiple lines of business
  • Present capabilities to prospective clients and qualify inbound opportunities
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across Little Dot Studios and with prospective clients
  • Manage your team’s pipeline, revenue forecasts, and sales activity using our CRM platform
  • Serve as a liaison between the Client Development team and other departments at Little Dot Studios
  • Work closely with the other departments to develop an understanding of our services and have solid consultative selling skills to best develop solutions to meet client needs
  • Keep up on shifting industry trends and market conditions, leveraging that knowledge to drive forward new business initiatives
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of social media platforms, particularly social video platforms and formats
