About The Position

As a Field Service Manager, you will help to deliver a world class customer experience in site operations by providing the right resources with right competence at right time. You will focus to drive profitability improvements and lead the generation to support growth and market share increase.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering field, or an equivalent professional experience and competencies leading teams.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field.
  • Willing and able to travel as needed.
  • Candidate must be living and authorized to work in the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of the field and site service function in alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Build and future-proof team competencies to meet evolving customer needs and expectations.
  • Lead planning, resourcing, dispatching, and coordination of site services within the assigned region.
  • Ensure successful execution of service projects and support agreements, meeting cost, schedule, and quality targets in accordance with Valmet guidelines.
  • Oversee a broad scope of services, including annual and maintenance shutdowns, improvement projects, expert field service assignments, and capital projects as needed.
  • Manage and develop the partner network in collaboration with the global supply organization.
  • Support sales and solution development by leveraging team capacity and competencies in close collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, project management, agreement management, spare parts, workshops, and product management).
  • Contribute to the development of new customer relationships and service offerings.
