About The Position

Our company provides Fluid Management & Engineering Services for Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Precision Bearing, Defense industries with monitoring/maintaining their metalworking fluids consisting of coolants, cutting oil, cleaners, rust preventatives, lubricants, etc. Fluid Management & Engineering Services is a strategic service component that helps to improve our customers’ processes, part quality, machine downtime, tool life, and overall operating costs. We have experienced consistent growth and always strive to provide our customers with the best products and services available. We help our customers with the manufacturing of Jet Engines, Helicopters, Airplane Landing Gear.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree required
  • Applicants must be US citizens
  • Pass background/security check and drug test
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of client’s personnel, from the operator level through plant management is required
  • Applicants must have valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Chemical Engineering degree preferred
  • Six Sigma certification and/or similar experience preferred
  • Experience in handling Metalworking/Manufacturing Fluids and/or Machine Lubricants preferred, but not a requirement
  • Industry experience with metalworking processes and fluids preferred
  • Seeking an applicant who is hard-working, follows direction, works well with others and independently, and ability to manager detail

Responsibilities

  • Performing fluid sampling for concentration control with refractometer and titration
  • Maintaining our Fluid Management Dashboard
  • Communicate findings/recommendations to customer management team
  • Communicate recharges of fluids to maintenance team lead
  • Inventory management
  • Purchasing of fluids
  • Coordinate fluid changeouts with maintenance team
  • Provide metalworking concentrate adds to customer
  • Monitor lubricant adds
  • Maintain fluids and lubricant storage area
