About The Position

Moloco is hiring a Manager, Business Analytics focused on revenue forecasting to help own forecasts that guide investment, Sales targets, and Product planning. The role develops, tests, and refines advertiser spend and revenue models across the business and its product lines, using driver-based and statistical methods and regular backtesting to improve accuracy. It analyzes revenue levers and pricing performance across advertiser segments and verticals, and collaborates with Finance, Sales, and Product to translate market and account-level signals and product roadmaps into projections for planning and go-to-market decisions. The role also builds dashboards and automation for faster, more reliable, self-service reporting and documents methodology while validating data and logic.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in analytics, revenue analytics, FP&A, or strategy.
  • Hands-on experience building and validating driver-based and statistical forecast models, including time-series and regression methods, with regular backtesting and accountability for model misses.
  • Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery or similar) and Python.
  • Fluency using AI tools to accelerate analysis, with the judgment to review outputs and catch bad joins, double counts, and logic errors.
  • Experience running recurring, deadline-driven reporting and forecast cycles accurately, triaging ad hoc requests, and documenting assumptions so results can be reproduced and defended.
  • Skill in root-cause variance analysis, separating volume, mix, pricing, seasonality, and one-offs and connecting findings to recommended actions.
  • Clear communication skills, including explaining model assumptions to non-technical partners and aligning Finance, Sales, and Product around a shared view of the numbers.
  • Understanding of how auction, supply, demand, and budget dynamics drive advertiser spend, with judgment about tradeoffs between revenue growth and advertiser value.
  • Ability to automate repeated manual work through dashboards and pipelines.

  • Partner with Finance, Sales, and Product to translate market and account-level signals and product roadmaps into projections, pressure-test assumptions, and align teams around a shared forecast for planning and go-to-market decisions.
